Age Limit: Candidates age should not be exceeded 35 years for post A, 30 years for post B as on 30-11-2014. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD/ Ex-servicemen candidates as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical / Electronics/ Instrumentation / Civil Engineering/ Engineering Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology with 60 % of marks from a recognized University.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on interview.

A few seats are available for sponsored / non-sponsored candidates in the 30th GME Batch approved by DG Shipping, Govt. of India, starting 1st Jan 2013.

Applications are invited from unmarried graduate Mechanical / Naval Architecture Engineers with minimum 50% marks, and 50% marks in English for Std. X or XII.

Age - Not more than 28 years on 1st Jan 2013.

Physical Fitness - Medical fitness certificate from Medical Officer approved by Directorate General of Shipping.

Course Fee:

The Tuition fees for the course is Rs. 1,60,000/- and other expenses including boarding & loading is Rs. 1,40,000/- candidates have to pay the total amount of Rs. 3,00,000/- at the time of admission. For female candidates there will be a reduction of 50% in Tuition fees (subject to minimum 2 female candidates).
