Admission to the course will be done through AYUPET - 2013, the common entrance test to be conducted on Sunday, 14th July 2013.

Eligibility for Admission
a) A graduate degree in Ayurveda of any university/statutory body approved by C.C.I.M.
b) The applicant should complete his / her rotating internship training before the commencement of counselling and spot admission.
c) The candidate should posses a permanent registration with any State Medical Council in India or Central Council of Indian Medicine.
Eligibility for Appearing In AYUPET - 2013
i) The candidate should be an Indian National
ii) The candidate must have passed BAMS examination from any Ayurved College Institute recognised by the Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi for admission.
iii) The candidate must have completed the compulsory rotating internship before the commencement of counselling and spot admission. He/She will be required to produce a certificate of completion of internship before joining the course. However, such a candidate will be required to pay the entire amount of annual tuition and other fees at the time of counselling. The failure of the selected candidate to pay the entire amount annual tuition fees, development fees and other fees at the time of counselling will result into forfeiture of his claim for admission and the same will be given to the next in the merit list.
iv) If a candidate does not fulfill any one or all the above requirements he/she will not be considered eligible for admission irrespective of his appearing and securing a rank in the merit list.
Application Procedure
A candidate desirous of applying for AYUPET - 2013, is required to complete the prescribed form.
The same must reach to the Registrar, Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Bharati Vidyapeeth Bhavan, Lal Bahadur Shastri Marg, Pune 411 030 on or before the date of submission mentioned.
Completed application forms must be accompanied by a Demand Draft towards Test Fee of Rs. 1700/- drawn in favour of The Registrar, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University on any Nationalised Bank or Bharati Sahakari Bank and payable at PUNE.
All candidates are required to enclose the photocopies of the following documents duly attested by Principal / Gazetted Officer along with the form -
a) Statement of marks of I, II and III BAMS examinations.
b) Certificate of completion of Internship.
c) Certificate indicating the number of attempts at III BAMS examination from the Head of the Institution
d) If the candidate is employed, he should submit 'No Objection Certificate' from the employer.
e) Declaration stating that he is not undergoing any Postgraduate course in any other institution.
f) Medical fitness certificate
g) Statement of marks of 10+2 examination.
h) Certificate of registration with State Medical Council/CCIM
i) Nationality Certificate
j) Migration Certificate
k) Certificate from the Dean/Principal of the Ayurveda College of the candidate stating, that the College is recognised by the CCIM.
l) Cast Certificate (In case of Candidates of SC/ST Category)
m) Cast Validity Certificate (In case of Candidates of SC/ST Category) issued by appropriate authority
There are two options available for payment of entrance fees
1. Payment through Demand Draft(DD)
2. Payment through Payment Gateway i.e. Credit/Debit Master/ Visa cards.
Important Dates:
Monday, 8th July 2013: Last date for submission of the completed application forms to Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, C.E.T. Dept., Second Floor, L.B.S. Marg, Pune-30.
Saturday 13th July 2013: Issue of duplicate admission cards to those candidates who have not received the same.
Sunday, 14th July 2013: Date and time of AYUPET - 2013
Tuesday, 30th July 2013: Declaration of results

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
DIRECT SECOND YEAR LATERAL ADMISSIONS TO DEGREE COURSES IN ENGINEERING/PHARMACY FROM YEAR 2013-2014:
Admissions to Direct Second Year of Degree Courses (Lateral Entry) in Engineering/Pharmacy for Diploma/B.Sc. Degree holders shall be granted on the basis of marks scored at qualifying exam (Diploma/B.Sc.), from year 2013-14.
Consequently, there shall be no G2CET(Goa 2nd Year Common Entrance Test) conducted.
Details regarding eligibility norms, guidelines for preparing merit list, etc., shall be duly notified in the Prospectus to be issued.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS
ADMISSIONS TO PROFESSIONAL DEGREE COURSES 2013-14
Admissions to following Professional Degree courses in the State of Goa for the academic year 2013-14 shall be carried out as follows:
a) Admissions to MBBS/BDS/BHMS Courses shall be based on NEET(National Entrance cum Eligibility Test) to be conducted by CBSE and eligibility criteria prescribed by MCI. Syllabus for the same is published on MCI website www.mciindia.org.
For further details regarding the Schedule, Centres, pattern, application form and other relevant information, candidates are advised to refer to the website of MCI/CBSE, as well as lookout for advertisements, circulars, notifications being issued by above bodies.
b) Admissions to B.E. and B.Pharm courses shall be on the basis of GCET (Goa Common Entrance Test), which shall be conducted in 10 Centres, across Goa State, as per following schedule.

Mathematics Thursday, 09.05.13 10.00 to 12.00 hrs Two hours
GCET-2013 shall be conducted in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Maths, based on Std.XIIth syllabus prescribed by Goa Board for March 2013 exam in these subjects.
Each paper will consist of 75 (Seventy Five) questions, of one mark each, to be answered in two hours, with no negative marking.
c) Admissions to B.Arch. course shall be on the basis of scores obtained at NATA(National Aptitude Test in Architecture), conducted by Council of Architecture, and qualifying exam (Std. XIIth /HSSC.)
Candidates are advised to lookout for advertisements /circulars/notifications to be issued by respective examining bodies regarding the above, so that lack of awareness on their part does not entail in loss of opportunities to seek admissions to Professional Degree Courses.
Information regarding the admission process, schedules, eligibility criteria, merit list preparation and other relevant details shall be notified in the prospectus to be issued.
Note:- Admissions to B.E. Courses in the State of Goa from the year 2014-15, are proposed to be on the basis of National Level JEE (Joint Entrance Engineering Examination) conducted by CBSE, which is likely to include portions covered in both Std. XIth and XIIth Science, and with suitable weightage accorded for marks scored at Std. XIIth Board exam. Interested students are advised to refer to the relevant websites of CBSE for syllabus and other relevant information, and prepare accordingly.
