Taxonomy/ Biodiversity AMU Senior Research Fellow Vacancies on Insect Biosystematics

Project title: ICAR- "Network Project on Insect Biosystematics" (NPIB)
Department of Zoology centre of NPIB 
Aligarh. Muslim University Aligarh

Senior Research Fellow (Two):
Essential: M.Sc. in Zoology with specialization in Entomology/ M.Sc. in Plant Protection in Agriculture with Entomology as the main subject or as one of the subjects.
Desirable: Some experience in Taxonomy/ Biodiversity related studies. Applicants should be well versed in Insect collecting and preservation techniques.
Emoluments: Rs. 16,000/= per month + HRA as admissible under rules.
Age: Applicants must not be more than 35 years as on the date of application. Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and women candidates, and 3 years for OBC candidates.
The above fellowships are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. These posts will be filled on contractual basis for an initial period of one year. Extension may be granted based on performance.
There is no provision for re-engagement after termination of the project. The selected candidates shall not claim for regular appointment at this Department or University.

No Travel allowance (T.A.), daily allowance (D.A.) or any other allowance will be paid for attending the interview.
