Applications are invited from Indian nationals for admission to Ph.D. Programme in different Departments/Schools belonging to the Faculty of Basic and Applied Sciences, BESU as detailed below:

1. Candidates who have passed M.Sc./M.Tech./M.E. are eligible to apply.

2. Candidates who have qualified in (UGC/CSIR)JRF/NET/SLET/SET/M.Phil./M.E./M.Tech. will have to appear only for interview. All other candidates will have to appear in a written test followed by interview.

3. Candidates will have to download the application form and the filled up form along with a DD/Pay Order for Rs.300/- (Three hundred only)drawn in favour of REGISTRAR, BESUS payable at Kolkata will have to be submitted to the Receiving Section, 5th Floor, Science and Technology Building on or before 5th October, 2012 on all working days between 11.00 a.m. and 2.00 p.m..
