About National council of Education
National Council of Education is an “Educational Hub” an autonomous National body to cater to the needs of a heterogeneous group of learners authorized by Wipron Welfare Trust registered under Trust Act for promotion and development Computer, Vocational Education in regular & Distance mode and University Courses of different Universities . There are generally two part of the Vocational Education. First one is the Vocational Education from the West Bengal State Council of Vocational Education and Training (WBSCVET) & second one is the Vocational Education from the National Council of Education (NCE).
West Bengal State Council of Vocational Education and Training (WBSCVET ) offering the courses are mainly educational institute like Secondary, Higher Secondary School, Polytechnics, Industrial training center, Industrial traing institute, Degree Colleges and Junior High Schools, apart from a few voluntary Organizations.The Council normally affiliates the intending Institute on receipt of their application against the open advertisement published in the ledaing dailies. Vocation education and Training courses are implemented at two level or tiers, one designated as short trterm vocatinal courses / training of 6 months duration ( VIII + level Short Terms Courses ) and the other of two years duration parallel to Higher Secondary ( X + II level ) couses fro the Madhyamik Pass out. Within the years under report, the Council has started the training programmes

( i ) Engineerring & Technology ( ET ) [ 18 Trades] ( ii ) Agriculture ( AG ) [ 4 Trades ] ( iii ) Business & Commerce ( BC ) [ 2 Trades ] ( iV ) Home Science ( HS ) [ 8 Trades ] ( V ) Paramedical ( PM ) [ 2 Trades ]
(B) In ( X+2 ) level the courses are offerde in 4 major disciplines e.g.
( i ) Dscipline: Agriculture (AG) [ 4 subjects ] ( ii ) Disciplines: Home Science (HS) [ 4 subjects ], ( iii ) Disciplines: Business & Commerce (BC) [ 4 subjects ] ( iv ) Discipline: Engineering & Technology (ET) [8 subjects ]
The courses of Computer and Vocational of National Council of Education are autonomous courses, designed by the council itself and the Certification are given by the Council itself.
National Council of Education is generally established with prime vision and objective to promote and developed the Muslim Minority Community. As number of Muslim Community are unable to get education due to their financial constraints and being placed in the remote areas.
National Council of Education has been constituted to regulate Computer Education and vocational courses ( Under Self Employment Education Scheme) in India . With the help of educational experts to educate uneducated boys, girls, men and women to upliftment the literacy in India. So that they can serve society effectively and with dignity.
National Council of Education is an autonomous body. The Council is an Autonomous National Body and it enjoys statutory status under constitution of India, 1950, for its rights to education programs admit students, Conduct Examination and issue Mark Sheet & Certificates. The area of operation of Council is all over India through its affiliated centres & authorized examination centres.
