SSC Syllabus 2012-2013 (Data Entry Operator, LDC, Stenographer, Constable)


SSC Syllabus 2012-2013 –
General Intelligence & Reasoning – It includes the Verbal and Non- Verbal Type Questions. The question paper will include topics from analogies, similarities and differences, space visualization, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discriminating observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series etc. The Exam paper is designed to gauge the aspirant’s skills to deal with abstract ideas and symbols and their arithmetical computation and other analytical functions.

General Awareness – This test the aspirant’s general knowledge of the environment surrounds the person and its application to society. These questions will also be designed to check awareness of the candidates of current events and of such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person. The exam will also include questioning related to India and its neighbored countries and questions concerning to Sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic scene, General Polity including Indian Constitution, and Scientific Research etc.

English Language – This is the English Grammar Test includes questioning on English Language, its vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms and its correct usage, etc. his/her writing ability would also be gauged.

Numerical Aptitude – The applicant have to face some quantitative questions and numerical or arithmetical questions in this section. Such as – Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, use of Tables and Graphs, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, etc.
