The Regional Cadre for Biotechnology (RCB) is reputed institutes in Biotechnology. RCB is inviting applications for Junior Research Fellowships (JRFs) for doing PhD. Selected candidates will work under the membership of its Faculty. Scholarship is provided to enhance the Research and Education skills among interested and talented students after completing post Graduation. Other details are mentioned below:
JRF Eligibility: Candidates who have completed post-Graduates in biotechnology or relevant disciplines in past two years with 60% of marks are eligible for JRFs. Candidates must have scored in CSIR-UGC NET for JRF, DBT JRF, ICMR JRF, ICAR JRF or equivalent.
Scholarship Duration: Initially it will be awarded for 2 yrs and will be extendable for three years. Continuation of fellowship will depend on annual review performance.
Application Fee: Candidates are requested to pay Rs. 500/- in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of the “Executive Director, Regional Centre for Biotechnology, Gurgaon-122016, Haryana”
How to apply: Candidates need to submit applications in a prescribed format available on the official website www.rcb.ac.in and www.rsb.res.in to the email registrar@rsb.res.in on/before 25th November, 2012. A signed copy of this application Form along with DD should send at the following address:
“Registrar, Regional Centre for Biotechnology 180 Udyog Vihar Phase 1, Gurgaon-122016, Haryana”.
